Do This Together
To address a big challenge, you have to think big. That’s why we partner with food and dairy companies to bring kinder, greener options to the world.
We give food brands familiar ingredients made with an innovative twist to deliver the same creamy, melty, silky enjoyment as dairy while meeting consumer demands for more sustainable, animal-friendly products. Our ingredients are highly customizable and seamlessly fit into existing manufacturing processes.
Your New Favorite Ingredient
Perfect Day’s flora-made protein is the perfect base for all things dairy. It delivers the same nutrition as protein from cow’s milk with none of the lactose, cholesterol, or hormones. Plus, it’s neutral in flavor and highly functional to create products that even the best plant-based alternatives just can’t match.
We’re already working with global partners for product launches through 2025. Get on board and take meaningful action towards your social responsibility and sustainability goals.
The possibilities are endless: flora-made dairy protein pairs the nutrition and versatility of dairy with the heart and soul of plants. Revamp your product portfolio with the protein that will drive food innovation into the future. Our ideal partners are companies eager to pioneer a new way of doing dairy.
Do you have an idea that could come to life with Perfect Day’s flora-made dairy protein? We want to hear from the next generation of startups that will redefine how good food can be.
We’re partnering with nonprofits and governments to realize our vision for the planet. If you’re from a geographic region that imports a large amount of dairy, has trouble producing it locally, or is interested in using domestic agriculture commodities to create high-quality protein, let’s talk.

Non-Animal Whey Protein Isolate
Our non-animal whey protein has the same nutrition profile and culinary functionality as whey protein from cow’s milk, but it’s vegan; free from lactose, cholesterol, hormones, and antibiotics; and has a smaller environmental footprint than conventional whey protein isolate (WPI). This ingredient is ideal for providing a rich, creamy, smooth, and indulgent eating experience.
Like conventional WPI, our animal-free whey protein excels in product applications requiring solubility, gelation, water-binding, foaming, heat stability, and emulsification. Our non-animal whey protein features ~95% protein content, with a profile of essential amino acids and branched-chain amino acids that support growth, maintenance of muscle mass, satiety, and weight management. Our non-animal whey protein improves product mouthfeel and texture and is ideal for frozen desserts, soft cheeses, energy bars, sports nutrition, powdered and RTD beverages, and more.
- Solubility: Demonstrates high solubility across a wide pH range.
- Emulsions: Delivers excellent dispersion and emulsification properties
- Foaming: Yields firm, stable foams when whipped
- Gelation: Displays excellent water binding and gelation properties
- Heat stability: Boasts heat stability at acidic and neutral pHs
- Color and Flavor: Forms high-clarity solutions with a clean, neutral flavor
- High bioavailability
- Vegetarian and Vegan
- Kosher certified (can be pareve)
Our non-animal whey protein is identical to the ones produced by cows and must be clearly labeled as an allergen on the nutrition panel, e.g. “Contains: Milk Protein.”
All prospective partners are expected to acknowledge and adhere to allergen labeling requirements.
My favorite flavor so far is Raspberry White Truffle. My son thinks the “A Lot of Chocolate” tastes exactly like dairy chocolate, and he says this is now his favorite ice cream.
They were SO smooth and I couldn’t tell they weren’t made from milk.
It’s as creamy and smooth as regular ice cream with no nutty aftertastes!
